This is a design board I created for a recent client. The jumping off point was the gorgeous drapery fabric. Beach glass blue, soft greys and chrome accents make for an inviting yet sophisticated space. The tufted sofa and architectural photography help create the modern classic look they were after.

H & C’s Family and Craft Room
Light, bright, functional and practical was what my client wanted for their basement family room. Equally important was a dedicated space for their little girls to do crafts. I included a neutral base with a few bright colours to make the occupants forget they were subterranean. For the craft area I included, easy to access storage to keep the craft supplies in order, a flexible desk lamp and some whimsical wall decals.

M & N’s Formal Living Room
My client wanted a light and elegant living room. The small hits of black in this space help balance all the light coloured furniture. I think every room needs a bit of black. The two console tables on the left flank the doorway to another room. The positioning of the mirrors above them will reflect the windows on the opposite side of the room. I always try to position mirrors to reflect windows as it visually doubles them.

Master Bedroom
My latest client was looking for a master bedroom makeover that incorporated some of her existing furniture and wall colour while adding a desk space. A mix of metals, lavender accents, glass and beautifully shaped mirrors add the ‘pretty’ she was looking for.
Commercial Office Space

My latest client has a growing engineering firm and wanted my help outfitting his new commercial office space. Glass, chrome, dark wood and grey walls give the masculine feel my client was after. White leather seating keeps the look from feeling too dark. Navy grasscloth wallpaper on an accent wall, beautiful artwork and graphic patterned accent pillows keep this office space from feeling anything but institutional.
